Location: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment; working remote as well as at the closest office location.

About the opportunity

Ceridian is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our global Cybersecurity organization. The cloud security engineer will implement cloud security capabilities including both public cloud and private cloud business SaaS applications. The cloud security engineer will deliver cloud security at scale that enforces cloud security standards including integration of cloud services and workloads. The cloud security engineer is also expected to possess advanced administrative and troubleshooting skills, and be knowledgeable about architecture, engineering, and design principles. This role will work closely with Technology and Product & Technology (P&T) counterparts globally. The successful candidate will be an experienced engineer, a highly motivated communicator and very responsive. This role will have a high level of autonomy to maximize the benefits of a global matrix.

What you\'ll get to do

• Engineer highly complex and scalable cloud security capabilities such as Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM), Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), etc.
• Implement technical controls, checks, and operational processes to support cloud security standards
• Implement cloud security strategy, standards, procedures, best practices, and SecDevOps.
• Lead engineering efforts in support of standardizing and consolidating cloud security solutions in support of mergers and acquisitions, integration activities, strategic project objectives
• Actively participate in POCs/POVs of new product and services and validate vendor tooling meeting requirements and use cases
• Work with Governance and Architecture teams to implement checks to ensure compliance with cloud security standards and best practices (e.g. ISO 27001, CIS, NIST 800-171)
• Integrate cloud security tools with various ticketing systems (DevOps, ServiceNow, Jira Cloud)
• Maintain knowledge of current and emerging trends in cloud technologies and threats.
• Resolve technical issues with cloud security technologies by performing diagnosis and root cause analysis for moderately complex issues (Tier 3 support)
• Respond in a timely manner to all compliance audit requests as needed

Skills and experience we value

• 3+ years of hands-on cloud security experience
• Expert knowledge and hands on technical experience with Azure & AWS
• Demonstrated solution delivery incorporating cloud security standards and emerging cloud technologies to engineer and automate where feasible cloud security solutions
• Scripting PowerShell, Python, JSON, Rego are a plus
• Experience communicating with cloud service API for automation
• Working knowledge of ticketing tools such as Jira, ADO, ServiceNow
• Working knowledge of related security technologies including SIEM, CASB, DLP, etc.
• Certifications such as CISSP, Cloud Security (CCSP, CCSK, AZ-305, AZ-500) are highly desirable
• Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Working Environment & Physical Demands

• Regular, predictable attendance is required with on-call availability
• Evening and weekend hours will be required as driven by project needs #LI-HYBRID
