Client: A subsidiary of a leading oil and gas exploration and production companyLocation: Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaType of hiring: Contract (possibility of renewal)Responsibilities:

• Oversee and provide updates on the progress and issues of project development, utilizing scheduling, project controls, and coordination with EPC and EPCIC managers/teams.
• Conduct project monitoring activities in alignment with Petronas\' governance policies, particularly regarding PPGUA requirements, encompassing project controls, procurement, and cost control.
• Support regular communication with Petronas and Partner(s).
• Aid in the creation of presentation materials such as Monthly Coordination Meetings and MPM, and deliver regular presentations.
• Generate and maintain weekly/monthly progress reports and presentations, as well as Long Range Plans.
• Manage project cost controls and track expenditure against budgets, while serving as the contract-holder for Follow-On-Engineering contractors, overseeing budgeting and administration in consultation with EPC and EPCIC teams.
• Prepare contracts as needed, managing interactions between Procurement and end users in the EPC/EPCIC teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience in the oil & gas industry or similar roles in other sectors, with relevant expertise in project management, services, or interface management.
• Proficiency in project management, support, front end, planning, and cost control.
• Software proficiency should include a working knowledge of Primavera and MS Project scheduling software.
