ROLE DESCRIPTION

This role offers the chance to advise and deliver change projects as part of a long-term strategic partnerships with leading global financial institutions.

The objective of these projects will be to help clients implement new Data Management policies across Asia Pacific, in order to mitigate data risks. We are looking for Business Analysts and Data Analysts, to own analysis of key banking processes and drive implementation of Data Controls in a scalable agile delivery model.

The preferred candidate will:

• Be a self-motivator and comfortable working independently as well as in a team of Capco and client colleagues
• Work closely with stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) including senior clients to perceive new and better ways of working
• Recommend areas for change and then provide support to the business as the changes develop to ensure continuous improvement
• Collaborate with all parts of the business including 3rd parties

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience working within Financial Services
• Proven track record of Business Analysis experience is a must
• Proven ability and track record in process mapping and process analysis
• Experience in Data Management practices, particularly in Data Lineage and Data Quality Controls is optional but preferred
• Data Analysis and Interpretation - the ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, reconcile variances, and recommend proposals to clients
• Proven stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical as well as senior stakeholders, the ability to run effective workshops
• Proven ability to produce structured functional documentation
• Strong academic record coupled with good problem-solving skills and an analytical mind-set
• For Senior Business Analysts (Team Leads) some experience leading teams, an understanding of project management and planning is preferred
