Tasks/Aufgaben Your tasks General Requirements Surveys - Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate the property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on NFPA Standards and others as appropriate. Develop recommendations based on standards to include loss estimates before and after completion of the recommendations. Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems. Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, special and natural hazards. Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss Provides training and peer review for other consultants; serve as a technical resource to other consultants Services provided to clients include training, manual and program development, code or regulatory interpretation. May prepare and present proposals, develop service instructions, solicit client feedback and prepare stewardship reports. Work assigned is typical of higher technical need as well as being in direct contact with upper client management, including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers. Professional conduct and excellent written/verbal communication skills are required as the position requires direct contact with upper client management, including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers Provide project management services to include special visits, plan reviews, and oral/written presentations to clients. Actively manage your work assigned in the database. Functional Requirements Review and respond to communication from clients and internal communication Carry out fieldwork, report writing, consulting, and plan review. Review workloads and revise accordingly Must be able to: climb ladders; lift/carry up to 50 lbs; stoop, crouch, crawl; traverse catwalks. Your Qualifications Four Year College Degree May hold any of the following certifications or be working toward Professional Engineer License (PE), Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS). 3-5 years of consulting experience Come to a sound conclusion based on information collected and the applicable standards/guidelines required. Gather and communicate information in a clear and concise report/letter/e-mail.
