Community charities are championed by TEAM LEWIS\' employees, who volunteer their time and skills to provide marketing and comms support to maximise the grants\' effectiveness. Purpose of the role The Art Director supports on creative programs, including strategy and tactical implementation, for TEAM LEWIS and its integrated clients. You will work closely with the Creative Director to manage the creative vision, look, feel and tone of our clients\', and our own, identity online. You will be responsible for leading, developing creative guidelines and directing creative work. The Art Director is an expert in all facets of the creative process - and the creative industry - in order to produce the best work. Collaborating with office heads, local market creatives, client servicing team and other marketers on a daily basis, this person is a conceptual thinker with a keen business sense and the ability to sell creative ideas to clients. Key Responsibilities And Tasks Client Management Leads a fully accountable strategic relationship with the client, providing insight, expertise and partnership across a wide variety of creative services Responsible for ensuring excellent client communication at all levels; defining KPIs, deadlines and service agreements for the team Drives the delivery of an added-value consultancy and works closely with clients to deliver campaigns, services and products across traditional and emerging creative technologies, both on and off-line Supports the new business process in collaboration with the Creative Director APAC, Futures Hub team and local office heads in selling TEAM LEWIS creative credentials throughout the tender process Creative Services Interpret creative briefs to provide clear understanding of objectives and work required Ability to develop creative ideas and concepts with an emphasis on compelling ideas align to business goals, ensuring efficient and effective delivery by the team Conceive, develop and produce the overall look and feel of advertising campaigns and other projects Oversee campaigns through the production stage to completion Sells creative opportunities within existing accounts and leads clients to uptake creative solutions Ensures a consistent level of service, quality and creative output from the team Provides strategic insight and direction for new business pitches and internal communications Introduces new technologies and development platforms to the team, with a view to supporting emerging client needs Keeps pace with external creative trends/culture and shares this knowledge with the creative team and local colleagues Channels Works collaboratively with the client servicing team to increase the utilisation and selling of digital services Partners with the client servicing team to develop innovative, compelling and impactful creative content for both current and prospective clients Measures client growth and impact across internal and external accounts Team working and development Defines deliverable client objectives and sets standards of excellence for all client activity, driving commitment from all levels of the team Monitors team activity levels against budget, increasing fees and negotiating with clients and suppliers where necessary Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion, working with both in-house resources and third-party vendor Supports in the new business process, project managing pitch teams and delivering credible solutions to new business challenges Acts as a respected line manager (where applicable), working closely with line reports to maximise strengths, improve weaknesses and support career development Work with the People team to reward, retain and develop the team and resolve any performance issues Reporting and analysis Ensures profitability and efficiency on all accounts and effectively manages budgets Understands and maximises the impact of client revenues on the wider business Communicates account performance internally and provide strategic advice to the client based on measurable analysis Monitor and report back on account KPIs and ensure accurate reporting by junior team members Provide detailed reports to the TEAM LEWIS senior management team on request General Lead and train regional creative teams to develop innovative design solutions, from broad concept development through to solid implementation Runs and supports training sessions, with a view to maximising opportunities to expand team skills and grow revenues Takes a proactive role in promoting the TEAM LEWIS brand, its identity, values and work Supports the people team by promoting both internal and external opportunities at TEAM LEWIS across social media and via the referral scheme About You At least 3-5 years of experience in an Art Director role in a digital/integrated agency Well-versed in all disciplines of design (Branding, User Experience, Art Direction, Communication Design, Moving Image etc) Proficiency in design principles (Typography, Composition, Scale, and Colour Theory amongst others), and working knowledge of how those principles work together, in particular for digital touchpoints In-depth understanding and ability of latest design softwares, including Adobe Creative Suite Pixel-perfect attention to detail Solid art direction craft skills in being able to bring creative concepts/big ideas to life in compelling ways Lateral thinker - able to connect external design trends to actual briefs and objectives Experience working on campaigns and design projects within multiple markets in the APAC region Confident in presenting, sharing and reviewing creative work with functional teams: including Creative Director, Account Servicing, and other regional stakeholders Calmness under pressure and ability to deliver to tight deadlines Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) - being fluent in English is a plus This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of the responsibilities for this role.
