By the time this new hire is comfortable in their role, they will be accomplishing things like:
- Writing content for websites, newsletter and other social media platforms.
- Manage existing brands and produce new brands.
- Work with Business team to understand the creative direction, brand voice and targeted audience.
- Liase with design team to develop all related materials
The ideal candidate will possess the following professional assets and skills:
- Bachelor Degree, in Marketing, Mass Communications, Advertising, Media, Journalism or relevant.
- Previous Experience (minimum 3 years of experience):
o Produce writing in advertising, marketing or social media
o SEO or social media marketing
- Technical Skills:
o Dreamweaver for HTML editing
o Basic photo-editing skills, preferably Photoshop
o Familiar with Facebook, Instagram and other social media applications
o Computer literate: internet, email, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation
- Professional Network:
- Domain Knowledge:
o Social media marketing
o Affiliate marketing
- Work Style:
o Money-minded: new hire needs to relate the writings with monetization.
o Working alone: new hire needs to prepare to work alone for the first 6-12 months, supervision and reference are available.
- Emotional Disposition:
o Resourceful: able to do research and willing to go extra mile.
o Open-minded: all content will be targeting US market. New hire needs to have curiosity to learn new audience.
