Senior Credit Manager (SME)

Job description

:

• Ensure the quality and completeness of Business Credit Applications (BCAs) in adherence to Group and Local Credit Policy standards, with a focus on thorough risk analysis.
• Approve BCAs within your credit delegation and provide support for cases requiring higher-level approval.
• Monitor compliance with Credit Policy and align with the business strategy quarterly to maintain credit quality standards.
• Conduct customer visits as needed to assess risk and uphold credit standards.
• Perform timely self-assessment on compliance within your job scope.
• Ensure compliance with the Group\'s standards and regulatory requirements related to Money Laundering and Customer Due Diligence (CDD).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Product Management, Sales, Operations, Credit Risk Control, and Legal & Compliance for joint initiatives and business deliverables.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including bank customers, regulators, and auditors for feedback, reporting, and discussions.

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of local regulations related to commercial credit.
• Strong credit analytical skills and ability to perform tasks independently.
• Proficient knowledge of lending parameters and credit life cycle.
• Familiarity with commercial products, especially trade and working capital products.
