The role has an important contribution to the product\xe2\x80\x99s quality, reliability, and customer focus design experience as per approved functional and technical specifications within Cochlear Quality Management System/Regulatory framework.The role reports to the V&V Engineering Manager and works with, V&V Lead, development teams, other V&V Engineers, Product Owners, Business Analyst, Software Delivery Managers, and Quality Engineers (when applicable). The Senior V&V Engineer plans/executes the V&V plans and partners with the development teams within a squad setup whilst ensuring the high-standard regulatory/quality compliance.The Senior CS V&V Engineer will be responsible for working on multiple projects at once, and this role is based at our KL office in Malaysia. This is a hybrid work environment.AccountabilitiesUnderstanding the functional and technical specifications in the context of Customer Software Products\xe2\x80\x99 ecosystem and wider Cochlear Products\xe2\x80\x99 ecosystemPrepare frontend/backend/electronics/end-to-end test environment based on Test Coverage Review minutes / testing scope relevant to the target releaseCreate test cases based on planning meetings, developer\xe2\x80\x99s/V&V Lead\xe2\x80\x99s/Business Analyst\xe2\x80\x99s/Product Owner\xe2\x80\x99s/Systems inputs, new feature/function\xe2\x80\x99s introduction, modification on existing feature/functions, and other relevant testing triggers.Complete all required test executions during sprint cycle on time with high quality standardProduce V&V reports based on test activities and results and ensure the correctness and traceability of the report ready for audit activitySetup correct test environment (manual/automated) as required by test definitions/Test Coverage Review minutesAccountable for testing delivery within complex projects in compliance with quality/regulatory management systemKey Incumbent requirementsTertiary qualification in relevant field of computing / engineering / science, or at least 4-6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a full lifecycle commercial software, firmware, electronics or system testing / development environmentDemonstrated experience in executing verification processes (frontend/backend/electronics/end-to-endSolid understanding of test methodologies, System/Software Integration Testing and System/Software development life cycle / V-model / automation modelExperience in performance and functional testing, pertaining to interface testing and a test automationCapable to use digital oscilloscope and multimeter and other electronics measurement equipmentExperience with electronics and electronic test equipment/automation (Ideal)Experience in performing V&V activities for embedded software (Ideal)Cochlear Malaysia provides shared services to support Cochlear\xe2\x80\x99s global operations.
