Senior Data Engineer

Job Description
The incumbent must be to able to plan, create and maintain the foundation of database architecture. They are required to apply relevant database techniques to create robust data architecture for future use of data mining and support future data analytical requirement.
- Collecting, managing and transforming raw data into Information that can be interpreted
- Design or participate on the data model design
- Understand business requirement and translate to design document from data ingestions to data modelling
- Identify hidden patterns from stored data
- Transforming legacy data to robust and informative data
- Implementing and learning new technologies and developing tools to remain abreast of current technology, while leveraging skills to support legacy technologies in development activities
- Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or other related discipline
- At least 3 years experience in Data Engineering (eg. Data modelling, data pipeline, data architecture , ETL )
- Experience in utilizing Cloudera
- Strong SQL skillset, added advantange impala sql language
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of data modelling and understanding of various data structure and their benefits and limitations
- Vast exposure to designing data architecture and data pipeline design
- Handle projects utilising the modern and sophisticated technologies
