If you are looking to Lead the business intelligence and analytics initiatives within a scalable matrix business, this is a great opportunity for you to step in and make impact.

• Collaborate with the data team to define key data quality and timeliness SLAs for all datasets.
• Implement and maintain a best-in-class extract, load, and transform (ELT) architecture with a combination of open-source & enterprise solutions with cloud technologies.
• Implement frameworks on governance, accessibility, and overall data management
• Design, build and maintain batch and/or streaming data pipelines in the cloud for analytics, ML, or external data transfer use cases.
• Collaboratively work with data analysts and scientists to develop tooling and platforms which helps them work more effectively.
• Advocate our data products and best practices to the wider Setel organization to drive their adoption and promote data literacy via training and documentation.
• Mentor and guide fellow data team members on good data engineering and coding best practices.

• Minimum B.S. Degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative/technical field.
• Exposure to working with large amounts of data.
• 1-3 years of data engineering experience.

Technical & Functional Skills:

• Strong working experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Python.
• Ability to write efficient SQL queries.
• Familiar with data warehouses and data lakes such as Redshift, and Athena.
• Familiarity with Airbyte and DBT is a big plus.
