As a Senior Data Engineer at Frasers Group you will help develop, maintain, support, and integrate our growing number of data systems. You will be coding, testing, and documenting new or modified data systems; creating scalable, repeatable, secure pipelines and applications for data analytics.

You will be joining our Ecommerce Platform Engineering team where our mission is to provide innovative and reliable websites, mobile applications, and platform tools that enable best-in-class Digital Marketing, Trading, UX, Payments, and Fulfilment. Our platforms run over 50 websites - including some of the biggest names in Retail such as Sports Direct and House of Fraser.

Qualifications

• 5+ years work experience as Oracle Database Engineer/Developer
• Expertise in large and complex SQL query development, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle development tools.
• Experience in diagnosis, performance tuning and Oracle internals
• Experience developing with C# / ASP.Net Core MVC / .Net Core
• Data modelling and understanding of different data structures
• Data integration and analytics
• Apache Kafka / Event-based architecture and design patterns (Desirable)
• MongoDB (Desirable)
• Microsoft SSIS or other ETL (Desirable)
