What You'll Do:

Data Engineering:

Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT Processes to ensure high-quality, accessible data.

Machine Learning:

Research, develop, deploy, and optimize Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) solutions as services or products for clients.

Infrastructure Design:

Provide subject matter expertise in architecture design, selecting the right tools and technologies for our big data applications.

Data-Driven Solutions:

Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end data-driven applications.

Practice Improvement:

Drive continuous improvements in our data practices across pipelines, BI, and analytical solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop high-quality, data-driven solutions that ensure buy-in.

BI Development:

Develop and enhance Business Intelligence (BI) applications to deliver clear insights.

What We're Looking For:

Experience:

At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a related field.

Core Skills (Must-Have):

? Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and manipulation.

? Expertise in SQL, relational databases, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.

Broad Skills (Highly Desirable):

? Experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining.

? Experience with parallel computing frameworks/tools like Spark or Databricks.

? Proven experience with cloud platforms like Azure (most preferable), AWS, or GCP.

? Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI (most relevant), Tableau, or Data Studio.

? Strong background in statistical analysis and business analytics, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and correlations to solve complex business problems.

Mindset:

A strong passion for interrogating data and a high standard for data quality. You must be a team player who can work independently and has a positive, proactive attitude.

Communication:

Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.

Domain Knowledge:

Knowledge of BI/Data Warehousing in the Retail/F&B industry is a plus.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
