Job Summary

Experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Engineer (Talend) will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable ETL pipelines using Talend to support our data warehouse and analytics platforms. Will work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and developers to ensure data is accessible, clean, and reliable for decision-making.

Responsibilities & Duties

Design and implement ETL processes using Talend Data Integration tools. Build scalable and reusable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Monitor and optimize ETL jobs for performance, reliability, and data quality. Ensure data governance, lineage, and compliance standards are met. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries and ETL workflows. Work with cloud databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience using Talend. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and data warehousing concepts. Experience working with structured and unstructured data from various data sources. Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Shell, or Java. Familiarity with data modeling, data governance, and data quality frameworks. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
