They analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns, develop predictive models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• Use advanced analytics methods to extract value from business data.
• Perform large-scale experimentation and build data-driven models to answer business questions.
• Conduct research on cutting-edge techniques and tools in machine learning/deep learning/artificial intelligence.
• Determine requirements that will be used to train and evolve deep learning models and algorithms.
• Articulate a vision and roadmap for the exploitation of data as a valued corporate asset.
• Influence product teams through presentation of data-based recommendations.
• Evangelise best practices to analytics and products teams.
• Define technical strategies for processing, analyzing, interpreting, big data sets.
• Leverage machine learning and modelling techniques to identify, analyze and present actionable data to drive business decisions.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Understand the current AS-IS process, identify the gaps/challenges, agree with the process, business owner the TO-BE process and position the use of digital technology to deliver the required value.
• Prioritizes and manages Business Process Improvement portfolio of projects, appropriately tracking success measures to effectively execute improvements, drive performance objectives and demonstrate value.
• Coordinate/Collaborate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Perform analysis and deduce conclusions or observations from analysis.
• Able to design and improve data models.
• Able to interpret the modelling results, describe performance metrics to business users Experience in solving business problems with advanced analytical solutions
• Experience in building and deploying data science and AI solution to production
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and skills such as Bayesian Networks Inference, linear and non-linear regression, hierarchical mixed models/multi-level modelling.
• Experience in developing visualizations using tools such Matplotlib, Plotly and Seaborn etc.
• Preferably with hands-on experience on SAS, SPSS, or other analytics platform.
• Programming background in Python is a must, R and other languages are added benefit.
• Database knowledge of NoSQL, PostGreSQL and queries with SQL are a must.
• Basic front end knowledge of NodeJS, Vue, Nuxt, Django are an advantage.
• Having Experienced in Machine Learning tools like Tensorflow, DeepDream, Amazon, Machine Learning, Google Cloud Vision, Computer Vision etc.
• Working experience in diverse domains including maintenance, supply chain, manufacturing or plantation.
• Presenting data in charts, graphs, tables, designing and developing relational databases for collecting data and in some organizations it also includes building or designing data input or data collection screens.
• Programming knowledge Javascript Frameworks like Node, React, etc. For quality data visualization dashboard development
• Process manufacturing technology & system exposure for Pulp and Paper Manufacturing, Palm Oil refining and Viscose Fibre Manufacturing will be a bonus.
