Primary Responsibilities:

• Works closely with a team to build and improve databases, SSRS reports, SSIS packages for related applications.
• Understands the integrity of development models including the enforcement of standards, policies, and system stewardship principles.
• Ability to work with non-technical end users to interpret and document user requirements and develop functional specifications.
• Performs System and Unit tests of team applications.
• Participates and leads teams in code reviews (T-SQL) and maintain standard coding practices.
• Manages multiple projects of varied size and scope. Responsible for project tracking and status reporting.
• Off-hour availability is required.
• Support production lines issues assisting different teams, main task is to check SQL Server database performance and identify solutions affecting applications in case this is identified.
• Tackle and solve challenging problems.
• Participate actively on team meetings, ceremonies share knowledge with others

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent in Engineering or Computer Science is required.
• 5+ years demonstrated experience in database development on SQL Server.
• 2+ years experience with an ETL tool. SSIS packages.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices
• Knowledge of data objects like JSON and XML.
• Strong knowledge of software development and the system implementation life cycle is a required.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 both verbal and written.
• Understanding of the integrity of development models including the enforcement of standards, policies and system stewardship principles.
• Ability to develop and support databases for applications used in production floor.
• Have some basic knowledge of programming languages.
• Be able to read and analyze data based on user requirements.
• Be able to read and code T-SQL for SPs, SQL Functions, etc\xe2\x80\xa6
• Have knowledge in SQL AG, Database Replication, Log Shipping.
• Work with Azure DevOps for collaboration and CI/CD. Git version control
