Lead and manage the mechanical design of pressure vessels, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations, such as ASME, API, EN, and other applicable guidelines.
Perform mechanical calculations for pressure vessels, including stress analysis, thickness calculations and fatigue analysis
Develop and review detailed mechanical design drawings, including General Arrangement (GA) drawings, sectional views, and weld details.
Ensure designs meet client specifications, project requirements, and industry standards for mechanical design
Review and approve design calculations and drawings created by team members to ensure they meet technical requirements.
Communicate directly with clients to understand design requirements and respond to queries regarding the mechanical design of pressure vessels.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., fabrication, procurement, and QA/QC) to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and efficiently during the manufacturing process
To perform any other related duties that may be assigned by your immediate superior/management from time to time.
