We are seeking a Senior Developer (L3, 6-9 years) with expertise in Mainframe Cobol, CICS, and JCL to support the Cards API & Digital Interfaces team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining Mainframe-based API integrations for CardLink / Vision Plus, handling VSAM datasets, and working with CICS, MQ, and Control-M scheduling tools. The ideal candidate should have experience with JSON, HTML, and API-based interactions for seamless digital payments and card services.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Mainframe-based APIs for CardLink / Vision Plus using Cobol, CICS, and JCL.
• Work with VSAM datasets for card transaction processing.
• Ensure seamless integration of APIs, leveraging IBM MQ for messaging and communication.
• Manage job scheduling and automation using Control-M.
• Collaborate with digital banking and API teams to enable smooth interfacing between mainframe and modern payment platforms.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues in CICS transactions and API calls.

Must-Have Skills:

• Advanced expertise in CICS, including transaction processing and debugging.
• Strong proficiency in Cobol, JCL, and VSAM for Mainframe ZOS.
• Experience with API integrations and IBM MQ for message queuing.
• Familiarity with JSON, HTML, and modern digital banking interfaces.
• Knowledge of Control-M for job scheduling and workflow automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with high integrity in work.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Vision Plus / CardLink systems for card processing.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and digital payments architecture.

Qualifications:

• 6-9 years of experience in Mainframe development within the Cards domain.
