Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will supervise and enable code releases and installations on a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) basis, working closely with IT, development, and business teams. You reside between development and deployment to ensure that everything is set up to release updates as quickly as feasible. You establish the release plan, oversee the review process, and work with automation, complicated software tools, and infrastructure design. To create complete solutions that other DevOps engineers and teams across the company can utilize, this highly collaborative position requires strong interpersonal skills, a zeal for organization, a desire to invent, and a collegial mentality.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance the IT infrastructure to get products to market faster, particularly by creating and deploying new development tools and infrastructure, as well as automating development and release processes.
• Collaborate with QA teams, drive performance testing and benchmarking to assess the performance and reliance of our systems
• Optimize release cycles, notably by suggesting evolutions to existing processes
• Monitor time to market and time to minimize, document these and share with stakeholders

Requirement

• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer in a scalable production environment, ideally built on Azure. Experience in others cloud platform is an added advantage.
• 5+ years of experience related build that relevant to JAVA and infrastructure development
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies, API and microservices development, scripting, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), MongoDB, Nero4J
• Solid knowledge of Agile and DevOps development processes and software development lifecycle, as well as tools used to manage backlog and track iterations (e.g. Azure DevOps)
• Familiar with CI/CD, including experience of continuous integration environments such as Jenkins
• Experience with source code management (e.g. Git) and repository hosting (e.g. BitBucket, Github)
• Experience in Ansible
• Experience working in both waterfall and Agile methodology
• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
