We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client. • Maintain and enhance our SAAS infrastructure across multiple cloud-based data centers.
• Participate in POC projects involving various technology stacks.
• Ensure top-notch security, resilience, and uptime.
• Be part of a 24/7 on-call level 3 priority 1 support roster.
• Support the automation of system rollouts to our data centers.
• Collaborate with partners and customers to resolve high-level issues.
• Work with our software architecture teams to support service changes.
• Design and improve release and deployment pipelines for regional products.
• Support the automated deployment of infrastructure on cloud platforms.
• Serve as an authority on delivery and operations tooling.

Technical Skills

• Experience in a DevOps culture, with a strong understanding of business drivers and tooling for value delivery.
• Proven experience supporting cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, AliCloud preferred).
• Demonstrated design experience with tools and processes related to monitoring and distributed tracing.
• Expertise in continuous integration and continuous deployment, including application monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with test-driven development.
• Experience with containerization and/or serverless components (Kubernetes preferred) or a deep understanding of supporting and monitoring thousands of service components.
• Proficiency with Continuous Integration tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins).
• Experience with release and deployment tools (e.g., Spinnaker, Harness.io, Azure DevOps, Octopus).
• Competence with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Terraform).
• Strong scripting skills and/or experience with coding languages (e.g., Bash, Powershell, Python).
• Familiarity with administering relational databases and NoSQL.
• Good understanding of common operating systems (Windows Server, Linux/Ubuntu).
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile delivery practices.
• Familiarity with APM/Monitoring tools and distributed tracing tools.
