\xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfClient Background: A well known MNC Engineering companyIndustry: Chemical EngineeringLocation: PenangTenure: PermanentSalary: Basic Salary + Bonus + AllowancesResponsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Responsible to facilitate the country regulatory Worker Environment Health & Safety standards/policies and global best practices in all activities - administrative, operations, supply chain, engineering, etc.\xc2\xb7 Implement Environment Health & Safety global standards, tools and best practices to ensure uniform functional execution to meet business and compliance requirements\xc2\xb7 Remains up to date and current with industry best practices through active leadership and involvement with industry organizations.\xc2\xb7 To ensure success of Line Management, the Environment Health & Safety team must provide functional knowledge, support, and coaching. This will entail use of global work practices; identification, development, and sharing of standards and best practices; and implementation of tools and training.\xc2\xb7 Maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certifications for applicable sites.\xc2\xb7 Respond to EHS incidents and support incident investigation process. Coordinate reporting of EHS incidents with site managers. Maintain EHS statistics for the organization.
