Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior E&I Engineer / Deputy E&I Manager at PGEO Edible Oils Sdn Bhd (A Member of Wilmar International Group of Companies) in Pasir Gudang. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable

maintenance, repair, and improvement

of all plant E&I equipment and systems. You will also support

new plant projects, upgrades, and process improvements

, contributing directly to the company's productivity, quality, and safety goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Power, Instrumentation, or related Engineering field.

5-8 years' experience

in plant Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering - including design, planning, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of electrical and automation/control systems. Strong background in

manufacturing, process plant operations, or packaging industry

. Experience in

project coordination / project management

. Knowledge of

Siemens PLC (S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500)

is an advantage. Exposure to

edible oil, food manufacturing, or oleochemical plants

is a plus. Strong

problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and leadership

skills. Familiarity with

safety compliance, preventive/predictive maintenance, and CMMS systems

will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage the E&I team for the Packaging Division, including equipment maintenance, spares, and system reliability. Plan, implement, and monitor preventive/predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve plant efficiency. Establish and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history. Coordinate with Operations and Plant Departments to carry out repairs, modifications, and new installations. Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support plant expansion. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce E&I department safety standards. Prepare reports, analyze data, and recommend solutions for E&I-related issues. Mentor, train, and appraise E&I team members to build competency and performance.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
