Department Overview Department Description: Design & Develop batteries, chargers & power supply for highly-sophisticated two way
communication products used in professional & mission critical markets of the commercial, government &
industrial segments.



Responsibilities: Specify, design, implement and validate embedded firmware on various microcontrollers for chargers.

\xe2\x97\x8f Specify, develop and implement software applications for test and production verification of batteries and chargers\xe2\x80\x99 performance.

\xe2\x97\x8f Estimate level of effort, evaluate new options, offer suggestions to improve processes

\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate and add values through participation in peer design and code review, providing comments and suggestions

\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve product issues

\xe2\x97\x8f Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements.

\xe2\x97\x8f Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems

\xe2\x97\x8f Serve as a mentor to less experienced software engineers

Basic Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering/Telecommunications/Electronic. Masters degree preferred.

\xe2\x97\x8f Minimum of 5 years working experience in related field.

\xe2\x97\x8f Basic understanding rechargeable cell chemistries and its charging profile

\xe2\x97\x8f Experience in embedded development for Li-Ion and NiMH chargers is a plus.

\xe2\x97\x8f Fluent in software fundamentals including software design and maintainability

\xe2\x97\x8f Basic understanding of embedded system architecture

\xe2\x97\x8f Should have very good working knowledge on 16bit ,32Bit Microcontroller

\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge on Renesas Controller is Plus

\xe2\x97\x8f Proficient in C, Python and Scripting Languages

\xe2\x97\x8f Familiarity with Jenkins, Jira, Git, Agile Development Process is a plus

\xe2\x97\x8f Test driven development and familiarity with developer driven automated testing is a plus

\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to collaborate and communicate complex technical concepts.
