Own It:

• Provide technical capability in the areas of Green Building initiatives (sustainable building and resource management) with the goals of reducing building electricity consumption.
• Plan, manage and monitor the implementation of the Green Building initiatives (Solar Project, Energy Management, Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency initiatives) enrolled by the company including establishing the related policy, manuals, resources and being responsible for the identification and technical analysis of energy savings opportunities.
• Prepare and finalize tender documents (request for proposal (RFP) / request for quotation (RFQ) / bill of quantity (BQ) and technical & commercial evaluation parameter) required by procurement procedure until the official appointment of the operator, vendor, contractor, consultant or service provider.
• Prepare approval paper, documents and proposal to the Management for projects related to Green Building initiatives.
• Plan and execute energy assessments, determine improvement areas, perform measurements, provide documentation of the recommended energy conservation measures and calculate estimates of savings for Green Building initiatives enrolled by the company.

Build Trust:

• Engage with internal / external counterparts in solving issues and implementing new strategies in the areas of Green Building initiatives especially Solar Project, Energy Management, Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency initiatives.

• Build and maintain effective collaborative relationships with stakeholders / business units to implement the Green Building initiatives especially Solar Project, Energy Management, Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency initiatives.

• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with internal & external stakeholders on communicating effectively regarding the implementation of Green Building initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) and the Board of Engineer (BEM) Malaysia.
• Registered with Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM), having professional certifications such as Professional Engineer, Technologist etc. will be an added advantage.
• Registered as an Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) under the Energy Commission.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related industry such as Energy Management, Energy Conservation, Energy Efficiency and Solar Project
• Strong professional experience in Energy Management, Energy Conservation, Energy Efficiency and Solar project.
• Team player equipped with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently as well as with cross functional teams and stakeholders (such as Facility Management, Procurement, Operation, Finance, etc.).
• Relevant project management experience including tactical and process-oriented problem solving.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads and meet timelines.
• Experience in liaison / coordination with authorities pertaining to energy management and solar project matters (i.e.: Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Energy Commission, Sustainable Energy Development Authority, Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation, etc.).
• Ability to multi-task and work on various projects in different phases.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communications skills especially in presentation and report writing.
• Good working attitude and willingness to travel.
