JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the development, upgrades, and delivery of complex Broadcast & OTT Systems (i.e. Broadcast Scheduling, Metadata, Asset & Content Rights Management, Advertisement Management & VOD Publishing Systems) within On Premise and Cloud. To perform system integration with 3rd party systems such as Broadcast & Playout Automation, Non-Linear Editing Systems, Content Management System (CMS),Broadcast Headend, DRM and all other associated systems deployed On Premise and Cloud. To develop technical software development design specifications documents and software development work(coding & scripting) that will address gapsidentified before, during and after system deployment To perform technical project planning and coordinate system deployment of 3rd party systems and all activities impacting systems & work flow implementation in timely manner. To perform systems commissioning, integration &acceptance testing, and handover to technical support team (i.e. include detail technical documentation and system training to ensure technical support and/or operational staff are sufficiently equipped &skilled). To apply in-depth technical knowledge and engineering principles to provide solutions and recommendations to continually improve the Broadcast/OTT Business &Metadata Systems. Participate in systems performance and capacity plan for future growth requirements Produce, develop, and maintain technical audit report, network diagram and systems\' logical drawing, report of attended case and resolution rates as well as other reports as and when required. To supervise associate engineers working in the same team or Project REQUIREMENTS: A fast learner with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network, Electrical& Electronics or related disciplines. Minimum of 3- 5 years\' working experience in IT/Broadcast with experience as a team lead or supervisory role. Have hands-on experience in Windows Servers (2008 and above), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft WSUS, Microsoft SQL Server, McAfee, and Linux servers. Knowledge in database system (SQL & MYSQL), SQL scripting, backend testing and API testing i.e. Postman& SoapUI Experience in TV Broadcast, IPTV, OTT or Digital Media/Web Hosting environment is an added advantage. Knowledge and Professional Certification in Cloud Computing (i.e. AWS), Networking i.e. CCNA is an added advantage. Able to understand failure mechanisms of complex computer based systems. Effectively apply communication skills to build and maintain internal relationships. Must be willing to work on irregular hours or on weekends to complete critical assignments.
