Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and prepare Civil & Structural design drawings, technical reports, design calculation, specifications, bill of quantities, and drawings checking Attend consultant meeting, site meeting, and site inspection Liaise with government agency for submission approval Overseeing all project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs Preparing work schedules and allocating Civil & Structural engineering department's resources Collaborate and interact with construction teams, associates and related project parties Strategy planning and lead technical development of Civil & Structural engineering department Motivate and cultivate professional growth and efficiency of team members Adhere to the best practices, standards and procedures of the company Any ad-hoc tasks that may be needed or assigned by Management from time to time

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil or Structural), with a minimum of 5 years' experience Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (PE or PEPC is an added advantage) Proficient in AutoCAD, MiTS, Prota, Esteem, MS Office, etc. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Malay Possess driving license and able to drive In-depth knowledge of civil engineering and construction specifications, standards, and codes Great leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Be adaptable and work independently coupled with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Self-motivated, diligent and team player quality to achieve common goals Able to plan, organise, and manage multiple activities Able to work outstation, perform under pressure, and deliver projects and tasks on time Professional, proper etiquette, patient, and enthusiastic Attendance/Punctuality - Arrives at works and meetings appointments on time
