About the roleDaikin Applied (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Engineer, Controls Application to join our team in Ara Damansara, Selangor. This full-time role is integral to the development and implementation of controls solutions for our innovative HVAC systems.What you'll be doing

• Identify new sales opportunities for control systems in key markets
• Integrating control solutions with building management systems and other third-party technologies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers.
• Providing technical support, technical documentation, product presentations, and proposals tailored to customer needs, including cost, timing, and resource requirements outlined.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure control solutions meet project requirements and specifications
• Drive the sales process from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closing sales, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Act as the technical expert in control systems, offering consultation on customer needs and the most appropriate control applications and products.
• Collaborate with customers to define system specifications, design control strategies, and propose the best-fit solutions for their applications.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share in the control systems

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in sales engineering or controls engineering, preferably in the HVAC industry
• Strong understanding of control system design, programming and integration
• Proven experience in selling complex control systems, automation products, or related technologies.
• Proficiency in control system software.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
