Our Engineering Transformation team work to improve the quality of our Engineering processes. Partner with the best As a Customer Application Engineer, you will play an essential role in the growth of our APAC Gas Tech Equipment business. You will have accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. As a Customer Application Engineer, you will be responsible for: Leading technical proposal preparation, negotiation, attend technical clarification meetings. Defining project budget and be responsible handing over the technical contract to execution team in case of award. Analyzing RFQ (Request for Quotation) and define offer strategy in proposal preparation stage for centrifugal compressor product. Providing support to Commercial Operations/sales team and those in charge of driver equipment, responsible for technical proposal and relevant activities. Performing relevant company risk management activities during whole proposal cycle. Leading opportunity assessment and discussion with stakeholders at global team. Presenting to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams and contribute to overall strategy. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor\'s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical) from an accredited college or academic institution. Have more than 10 years\' of work experience in the related field with turbomachinery experience. Able to fluently speak and write in English Be a team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Have knowledge of available technical solutions in the market for compressor product line. Able to travel up to 50% of the time.
