Job Description

Project/Construction Engineer will be responsible as project coordinator overseeing construction, existing building remodeling, tool install/relayout, space planning, building code compliance, and building permitting. He/She will be able to routinely making decision within his scope of impact by integrating his knowledge, concept and theories in making decision to ensure success of the project based on the quality, time and cost. He/She will listen to customer feedback, recognize opportunities and provide solution for continues improvement to processes and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facility Sustaining Capital, Small Projects, Tool Install/Relayout.
• Civil Package : General Renovation, Cleanroom Partitioning/Vynil Flooring.
• Provide project planning, budgetting, designing, construction and commissioning for efficient and effective project execution.
• Ensure coordination of design and construction with all affected groups e.g. end user, safety, environment, risk management and other stakeholders
• Support tool install/relayout execution ensuring dateline, quality and cost are meeting the requirement
• Align on the development of Capital Budgeting for Facilities within Site and Corporate requirement e.g. finance, timeline, resources
• Identify opportunity of improvement within construction and project scope e.g. 2nd source, negotiation term
• Review and support capacity analysis for your systems tracking against actual data from the facility.
• Identifies and evaluates risk analysis for your systems and proposes possible improvements.
• Provide solutions real time in projects and/or processes problem.
• Evaluate existing and future processes based on risk analysis, decision analysis to eliminate/reduce potential problems
• Use, identify and implement equipment and process control methods e.g. FMEA, 5Why, Six Sigma
• Develop and implement long term improvements that result in cost reduction, improved reliability and safety improvements

Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS)

• Follow all EHSS procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards
• Ensure compliance of all facility equipments in accordance to regulations
• Ensure compliance of daily activity in facility within the regulatory permissible limit.

Cost Reduction

• He/She is responsible for reducing costs associated within the area. This responsibility may include owning and completing cost reduction projects, identifying cost effective sustaining/manufacturing improvements, minimizing regular expenditures, and helping to promote a cost conscious culture.

Qualifications
Qualifications
REQUIRED:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil, Industrial, Architecture or equivalent or equivalent Engineering study

PREFERRED:

• Minimum 1 - 3 years experience in Manufacturing Industrial preferably in Semiconductor
• Experience in IMS, 8D, AUTOCAD and excel, power point, and word is an added advantage
