In your new role you will:
- Develop and maintain automation workflows in VMware vRealize Orchestrator to streamline IT operations.
- Integrate VRO with ITSM tools to automate service request fulfillment, incident management, and change processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify automation opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure high availability and optimal performance of the VRO environment.
- Create and maintain documentation for automation workflows, including technical specifications and process diagrams.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of automation scripts to align with evolving IT infrastructure and business needs.
- Provide training and support to IT staff on utilizing automation workflows effectively.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of automation, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in automation technologies and ITSM best practices.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience with VMware vRealize Orchestrator and ITSM platforms.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and cloud computing.
- Experience in scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
