• Reports to the Project Manager (Engineering and Studies).

• Carries out administrative and technical activities of the Technical Team assigned by the Project Manager.

• Engages with the external consultants and/or Owner Engineer appointed by the Joint-Venture Company together with the Project Manager in technical studies, technical matters, and activities.

• Directly carries out and/or participates as the counterpart in all the technical studies.

• Participates and coordinate SEB\'s roles in all the technical studies including engineering design and system studies carried out by and/or collaboratively with:

I) Owner Engineer consultants.ii) OEM manufacturers for HVDC subsea cables, converters, and overhead lines.Iii) regulatory authorities.iv) internal SEB stakeholders.

• Participates and coordinates SEB\'s roles in the technical discussions and studies related to the EPC tender bidding, front-end engineering design (FEED) and EPC design studies.

• Participates in and coordinates all activities related to the implementation of the interfacing works between the Project and internal SEB stakeholders.

• Collates and consolidates system studies experiences acquired during the project into a systematic and structured body of knowledge, competency, and expertise.

(Note: The accountabilities specified above are in respect of the proposed Sarawak-Singapore HVDC transmission interconnection project)THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES:

• Studies and analyzes new technical concepts.

• Detailed technical problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Second-echelon technical leadership skills.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. Candidates possessing relevant higher qualifications, e.g. Master\'s degree would have an advantage.

• Minimum 6-8 years of professional working experience.

• Carried out at least one power system study using PSS/E software.

• Experience in leading an engineering system study and technical report writing would be an advantage.

Preference will be given to internal candidates.
