• Define, design, develop, and deliver technological solutions to manufacturing process include plastic injection tray, thermoforming tray, jigs, fixtures, and other mechanical parts used at production.
• Maintains the mechanical design systems/libraries.
• Develops and run new mechanical design qualification programs.
• Develops solutions to improve quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity, and safety utilizing formal education, experience, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.
• Transfers process to high volume manufacturing and provide support in new factory start-up.
• Provide management and technical leadership for assigned projects ensuring schedule fidelity and successful completion (projects will be both customer and process focused).
• Perform tolerance analysis on various mechanical assemblies and create 2D mechanical drawings.
• Interface with mechanical component suppliers
• Knowledge in injection molding and sheet metal will add advantage.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Bachelors Degree or Master in Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge in injection molding, sheet metal and jig design will add advantage.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques including machining, sheet metal and welding fabrication.

SKILLS:

• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Skilled at 3D modeling and detail drawing (e.g. SolidWorks, NX, Inventor).
• Ability to perform mechanical analysis using FEA and hand calculations.
• Ability to manage and complete work on multiple concurrent projects and prioritize to meet internal and external deadlines.
• Good time management.
• Ability to lead cross functional project teams.
• Adaptable to rapidly changing environment.
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, their design, and supporting analysis.
• Broad knowledge of documentation and quality systems, including engineering change and ISO 9001.
