Job description: Your Contribution To ensure all Inspection, Measurement and Test Equipment\'s (IMTE) in SCHOTT are compliance with the defined quality management system. To ensure manufacturing readiness from quality point of view for new product introduction. Propose engineering solution by utilizing QM-tools and knowledge of metrology. Serve as a technical expert for metrology and measurement, possessing strong knowledge of GD&T and the ability to review engineering drawings for measurability. Define measurement tools and methods for product quality assessment through technical assessment and analysis. Demonstrate advanced skills in measurement and inspection, including troubleshooting and programming complex measurement tools. Perform Gage R&R for Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to ensure accurate and reliable measurement results. Evaluate, select, and qualify new metrology equipment to support technology development and production ramp-up. Drive continuous improvement for measurement tools in terms of stability, capability, capacity, and operational optimization. Develop and maintain metrology-related documentation, including measurement capability and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Train production personnel on measurement methods and equipment execution. Your Profile Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Process Technology or Analysis with focus on QA/Metrology or ASQ CQE or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Min 5 years working experience in manufacturing field OR proven ability in entitled job position. Good knowledge of metrology. Basic knowledge in project management. Good in GD&T. Knowledge in QM-tools, Practical knowledge of quality assurance methods (Gage R&R, MSA, SPC, FMEA etc.) Advanced knowledge in minitab and others mathematical/statistical analysis tools.
