Job Description

Scope of Responsibilities * Lead a team of engineers and designers in carrying out detailed engineering work assuming responsibility for conceptual and detailed design (Concept, Front End or Basic, Material, Stress Analysis, Layout Engineering, Coordination of 3D modeling) and provide necessary technical information for procurement in compliance with tender specifications/data sheets and within budgeted man-hour and project schedules.

• Capable in the design of HTHP pipeline, upheaval and lateral buckling, CRA claded pipes, shore approach design, PLEM design preparation of specifications, preparation of guidelines for pipeline operating and maintenance manual, offshore pipeline installation scope of work and technical bid evaluation.
• Able to lead an engineering team to execute pipeline design project in various phases such as concept, basic, FEED, detailed design and EPCIC type of contract and to interface with client and vendors.
• Capable in flexible pipeline, deep water pipeline design, non-metallic pipeline and FEA.
• Responsible for the control of man hours and schedule to be within the allocated budget.
• Willing to train and mentor the junior pipeline engineers.
• Capable in international design codes for offshore pipelines such as ASME 31.4 and 31.8, DNV (OS F-101, F-103, F-104, F-105, F109), API, etc.
• Integrate and/or consider Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (QHSSE) element in all activities to ensure company\xe2\x80\x99s QHSSE objectives and targets are met.

Requirement

A recognized degree in Mechanical, Civil or Marine or Minimum 13 years of experience in offshore pipeline design with the last five (5) years as Lead engineer in design of subsea/offshore pipeline in the oil and gas industry. Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia.
