We are looking for an experienced

Electrical Engineer

with strong expertise in medium- and high-voltage systems to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects, from design to commissioning, while collaborating closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Commissioning:

Perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of medium- and high-voltage electrical systems (11kV - 33kV).

System Design:

Design and modify high- and low-voltage distribution systems, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.

Technical Drawings & Protection Schemes:

Prepare and review AutoCAD drawings and develop accurate protection schemes.

Site Supervision:

Oversee installation works to ensure safety, quality, and design compliance.

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare inspection test plans (ITPs), technical documentation, and project reports.

Project Coordination:

Lead TNB project implementations, coordinate vendor activities, and monitor project timelines.

Component Selection:

Source, select, and procure appropriate electrical components for each project.

Client Collaboration:

Work closely with clients to meet requirements and ensure successful project execution.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in switchgear engineering, with strong exposure to medium-voltage (11kV - 33kV) systems.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) design, testing, commissioning, and site modification. Strong knowledge of MV/HT testing, circuit tracing, troubleshooting, and modification works. Skilled in AutoCAD, protection schemes, and electrical drawings. Experienced in preparing ITPs and technical reports. Familiar with TNB project requirements and processes.

Language Skills:

Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an advantage to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Other:

Must possess own transport and a valid driving license. Willing to travel outstation and work on weekends/public holidays when required.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
