SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

To work together with Process Engineer, Yield/Integration Engineer, and Equipment Technicians to optimize and maintain Oxidation equipment & automation to support safety, efficiency, and quality goals set by the company by way of continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * To engage and work closely with Manufacturing Supervisors/Specialists, Process and

• Equipment Technicians to resolve daily line issues and to sustain the lines.
• To provide first level engineering support for Furnaces, Furnaces Abatement & Furnace Loader/Unloader Automation issues and be involved in
• engineering projects such as cost reduction, OEE improvement, second sourcing, yield &
• reliability improvement and new line/equipment start-up.
• To review equipment data log, errors and SPC to ensure equipment are always running smoothly and develop necessary PM procedures, OCAPs and PM, etc.
• To plan training programs for Equipment & PM Technicians for capability improvement.
• To monitor and sustain daily equipment performance.
• To maintain and achieve good mechanical and electrical yield.
• To drive improvement projects to reduce repair and maintenance cost.
• To perform root cause analysis on yield and address issues using problem solving methodologies such as 8D approach and 7QC Tools.
• To support cost reduction for chemicals and spares using data analysis, engineering evaluation and characterizations.
• To prepare for and attend required meetings.
• To comply with the standards, norms and regulations of quality of the environment, health and safety and manufacturing.
• To perform other tasks as required or assigned.

RELATED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS * Degree or Master\'s Degree in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Machatronics or related field.

• Minimum 3 year experience in wafer cell manufacturing, wafer fabrication or PV Cells/
• Module manufacturing background is preferable.
• Fresh graduates with good CGPA are also encouraged to apply.
• Analytical, able to perform risk analysis and mitigation with strong problem-solving skills
• (FMEA, 5 whys, 8D).
• Good command of computer knowledge including MS Windows applications.
• Good team player with good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to speak, write and read in Mandarin is an added advantage.
