To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and team-oriented individual for our Plasma Control Technologies division at the Penang site as aSenior Equipment EngineerFor 75 years, we have been following our curiosity. Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication.In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.What you will do:

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions and BOM for vacuum capacitor production equipment.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Optimize equipment parameters to improve product quality and yield. Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure consistent product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related production issues. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. Oversee equipment calibration and certification.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other teams to ensure timely repairs and maintenance. Identify and implement new technologies to improve and enhance the manufacturing equipment. Travel may be required.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Materials Science/Industrial Engineering or equivalent with minimum 4 years relevant experience in vacuum capacitor manufacturing or design roles, or equivalent within similar industry.

• Strong understanding of vacuum capacitor technology, precision mechanics, and automation systems. Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience of ERP system such as SAP, project management tools such as JIRA.
• Experience with Semiconductor equipment manufacturing. Proficient in 3D mechanical modelling with SolidWorks.
• Experience with programming knowledge in various languages (C++, C#, Visual Basic, PLC). Knowledge of curve analysis (signal processing)
