Job Responsibility:

1. To perform project cost estimations including material and subcontract.

2. Must have ability to create estimates as self-perform to compare with market price.

3. Must have managerial skills and strong network.

4. To handle commercial & technical proposal and all required bidding documentation for tender submission.

5. To perform preliminary design calculations for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, etc for cost estimation.

6. To perform computation of project cost estimate for tender submission.

7. To attend technical / commercial bid clarifications meeting from clients during the pre-award stage.

8. Prepare project budget prior to project kick off.

9. Must have analytical skills.

10. Work closely with Project Management, Procurement, Engineering Design, Production & QA/QC Department to ensure all aspects in the scope of work required by client and offered by suppliers / sub-vendors are covered in the proposal and ensure that profit is well kept.

11. To perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Diploma / Degree in any field.

\xc2\xb7 Above 10 years working experience in fabrication industry.

\xc2\xb7 Relevant skills and knowledge: Familiar with International codes and industry standards. Preferably for oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, chemical, mineral processing and pharmaceutical industries.

\xc2\xb7 Risk assessment and management.

\xc2\xb7 Good knowledge of supplier of third-party management software.

\xc2\xb7 Decision making

\xc2\xb7 Good communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Negotiations skills
