Job Description

The Senior Internal Audit Executive/Assistant Manager will lead and execute internal audit assignments, guide junior auditors, and ensure the effective implementation of the internal audit plan across multiple business units. The role involves auditing, consulting, reporting findings, and assisting in continuous improvement of audit methodologies, with opportunities for domestic and international travel.

• Lead and manage internal audit assignments, ensuring effective execution of audit plans.
• Guide and mentor junior auditors, providing training and support.
• Plan, organize, and execute auditing, consulting, and ad hoc assignments.
• Liaise with personnel to obtain necessary data and information for audits.
• Identify and discuss issues with auditees, providing clear recommendations.
• Draft audit findings and reports, and assist in preparing presentations.
• Ensure proper documentation and evidence to support audit conclusions.
• Follow up on corrective action plans to ensure implementation.
• Contribute to annual audit and resource planning.
• Continuously improve audit methodologies and apply international auditing standards.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by the Internal Audit Manager or Head of Internal Audit.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Over 3 years of internal auditing experience, ideally in a public listed company or MNC.
• Exposure to auditing in agro-based, manufacturing, and retail operations.
• Experience in advisory, investigations, IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit processes, business functions, and best practices.
• Proficiency in applying governance, risk, and control concepts in audit recommendations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with management at all levels.
• Strong analytical, planning, and report-writing skills, and a collaborative team player.
• Ability to think critically, propose solutions, and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50% of the time).
