Purpose of Role

The role of the Senior Executive, Accounting involves overseeing accounting tasks associated with accounts payable. He/She has the responsibility of handling the daily management of vendor accounts, vendor invoices, and payments, among other related duties.

Your Impact

• Process, review, and verify all purchase order (PO) and invoices to ensure proper approval in according to the Group approval matrix.
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain vendor accounts, paying vendors, resolving PO and invoice discrepancies
• Handle the tax installment and withholding tax payments, imported service tax.
• Maintain the IFRS 16 schedule.
• Operate the online banking system and ensure the bank account has sufficient fund.
• Perform the bank reconciliation.
• Change of the bank signatories, bank record etc.
• Review all staff claim and process reimbursement of staff claims.
• Maintain the fixed assets record in the system.
• Tag the physical fixed assets against the system record.
• Handle the petty cash transaction for the company.
• Assist to perform the analysis of the expenses for tax filing.
• Deal with auditor for all the queries related to the Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets.
• Close the Account Payables and fixed assets module within 2 workings after month end.
• Actively participate and support any project from regional office.
• Ad-hoc duties delegated by the management team.
• Implement policies and procedures for proper internal controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or accounting professional qualification.
• 2 to 4 years of similar accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP solutions (Ms Dynamics 365) with aptitude to learn new systems.
• Strong communication, integrity & good analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Motivated and independent team worker.
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
• A sincere and contagious passion for building Under Armour.
• Ability to listen, to discern and to respect the beliefs of teammates.
• Smart, creative, compelling, driven. Not afraid to lead others past their comfort zone. Creates a sense of urgency.
