Job Description

The BIM Senior Executive is responsible for all Building Information Modelling (\'BIM\') matters including but not limited to conduct research and development of BIM technology, assist in establishing and managing BIM roadmap, processes and requirements to ensure BIM adoption across projects in order to improve project delivery and construction quality. Responsibilities: BIM Research & Development Conduct research on BIM technology, products, documentation, and authority requirement. Assist in BIM roadmap for the company to increase workflow efficiency and expedite construction process. Assist on establishment of UEM Sunrise BIM documentation by outlining the Information Requirements to foster adoption. Assist on the assessments of the advantages of BIM, in relation to efficiency, time-savings and cost alleviation throughout the lifecycle of a project. Creation and development of BIM Object Library as part of UEM Sunrise\'s Standardisation in design. Creation and management of parametric modelling, coordination, scheduling and documentation. Knowledge in BIM standards such as ISO19650 BIM Project Management Assist to manage BIM projects for the company from concept design stage until completion of the project hand in hand with Design Managers in accordance with the UEM Sunrise BIM requirements to improve the efficiency and productivity of the project and better cost control. Collaborate with relevant internal project stakeholders i.e. Project Team, Design Manager, Procurement, Legal and Sustainability Team in BIM setting up, process management and to ensure compliance of UEM Sunrise BIM Requirement in BIM project implementation. Ensure successful setup of BIM requirements for BIM Projects which includes UEM Sunrise Design Parameters and Guidelines. Coordinate between Consultants, Contractors and Manufacturers processes in accordance with UEM Sunrise Design Parameters and Guidelines. Assist the BIM capabilities assessment for Consultants and Contractors prior to appointment of consultants and contract award. Assist and manage on comprehensive business process by integrating BIM into design and construction value chain to optimize design, workflow, coordination and cost management. BIM Awareness and Development Educate stakeholders of BIM projects on the BIM usage and its advantages to have better collaboration in achieving project goals. Assist the organisation of BIM awareness campaigns and events periodically to promote BIM adoption. Collaborate with industry players i.e. CIDB, MPC, PAM, IEM and other related organization for knowledge sharing and lesson learnt to gather best practice of BIM implementation for the company. Showcase the success stories of UEM Sunrise BIM adoption for corporate branding. BIM Integrated Standard Operating Procedure (\'ISOP\') Documentation Ensure the BIM implementation are in accordance with the BIM ISOP. People Development Provide relevant advice, ideas on BIM related issues to Design and Business Unit Team in improving technical knowledge, problem solving continuous improvement and improved methods in performing duties. Qualification: Bachelor\'s Degree specialised in: Architecture, Civil & Structure, MEP, Construction Management 3 to 6 years of working experience. Minimum of 3 years experience in technical design, site supervision and management of building construction sites. Possess good knowledge in Archi, C&S and IBS. Possess initiative and good leadership. Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a proven track record in the construction industry
