Job Purpose

• Execute tender processing, cost management and analytics related activities (including reporting) for procurement, contract administration cost data management during design stage, pre-contract and post contract according to Company's policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Strategic

• Support and assist in executing overall tender processing, cost management and analytics related activities (including reporting) for procurement, contract administration cost data management during design stage, pre-contract and post contract strategy according to Company's policies and procedures

• Financial

• Execute and support in cost reduction exercise to achieve desired feasibility
• Assist to ensure contracts for Buildings and Main Infrastructure & Landscaping are awarded as per agreed timeline to achieve profit margin
• Operational

• Support in reviewing cost estimation activities for all projects undertaken by the Company
• Support in conducting Value Engineering Exercise with relevant consultants when needed for critical project based on margin feasibility.
• Support in setting up to maintain Cost Modelling / Database to capture SDP raw cost data for analysis to act as a benchmark for future analysis.
• Assist in preparation cost data for BPC usage focusing on Direct Development Costs.

Job Responsibilities (Con't)

• Assist in preparation report on yearly cost performance on yearly basis against previous years according to product arrangements.
• Assist in developing a systematic process to collect, coordinate and execute data (also known as Cost Modelling / Cost Database)
• Assist to ensure a set of standardized cost database and analytics reports are accessible to all relevant personnel to perform coat review exercises
• Assist in reviewing the Tender Documents prepared by Consultants at BIM LOD 300 detail stage.
• Assist in evaluating the tender results and tender rates/amount for Tender Clarifications Committee
• Assist in exploring materials, products and design in open market against available benchmark.
• Assist in reviewing design and cost effectiveness through SDP previous best design cost data to avoid overdesign issues
• Provide support in the appointment of Project Consultants as per Company Policies and SOPs for Business Units

• Responsible for any project delay due to late appointment of project consultants

Education/Professional Qualification

Degree in Quantity Survey or any relevant qualifications

Professional Experience

• 3-5 years relevant working experience in Property Development industry
• Registered Member of Board of QS Malaysia (BQSM) or Royal Institute of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM)
