OVERVIEW:

To carry out total preventive maintenance for all substations, raw water treatment plant, employee hostel, office and sewage treatment plant.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To carry out all duties as a Chargeman with a valid competency certificate/license (BO 33Kv) for all substations and other maintenance activity for hostel, raw water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant and river intake. To carry out Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all substations, raw water treatment plant, employee hostel and sewage treatment plant. Ready to be on-call duty after working hours. To assist other colleague. To provide works and guidance to subordinates. To improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE), and to predict equipment deterioration rate. To follow-up and update day to day operation of facility department. To ensure subordinate efficiency, and to lead them to better productivity. To improve department teamwork. To liaise with contractor or supplier on projects/modification/ improvement/ maintenance activities. To liaise with government officer especially during the audit. To liaise with other department/plants. To ensure all expenditure is within the budget. To ensure KPl's targets are achieved. To provide training to all supervisors and technician within the department. To ensure safety of all workers and brief the accordingly. To ensure all operation and works are within the standard. To ensure all documents are done and keep properly in compliance with ISO. And to keep track of all records. To reduce breakdown time, and to prevent breakdown. To rectify complain from customers. To assist in troubleshooting or modification works. To ensure spare parts availability. To carry out any jobs given by superiors. To ensure Chargeman competency registration (BO 33Kv) for substations/company is done accordingly with Suruhanjaya Tenaga. To ensure license renewal and payment is settled accordingly with respective organization such TNB. Any other tasks that assigned by superior.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Minimum B033kV competency Certification/License or equivalent.

Work Experience:

Minimum 5 years of working experience in substation.

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

Electrical Knowledge. Mechanical Knowledge. Troubleshooting Skill.

Certification / License Requirement:

B033kV competency Certification/License.
