Job Description




POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To implement the strategic goals and objectives of O&M contract; facilities management and services towards a high quality performance and customer oriented. To supervise the O&M activities; target revenue; budgetary; resources and its contract goals to support company\'s objective by promoting a good business practices in line with IMS (Integrated Management System) for ISO 9001 Quality Management System; OHSAS 1800:2007 Occupational Safety & Health and EMS ISO 14004 Environmental Management System.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible in the implementation of operation and maintenance of KLIA O&M Comprehensive Contracts of BNM Buildings and other related O&M Contracts in order to meet the respective client\'s expectations.
  • Plan, implement and monitor O&M activities for the Shift Operation, Corrective and Breakdown Maintenance in order to upkeep equipment performance and technical system availability.
  • Manage and monitor resources such as manpower, tools, equipment and transportation in order to achieve competent staff and meet O&M objective.
  • Ensure the Contractual Service Level requirement with regards to respond time and recovery time are achieved.
  • To liaise with Competent Electrical Engineer in compliant with Electrical Safety Regulation and Electrical Supply Act 1990.
  • To ensure the smooth running of Shift Operation including managing manpower planning, logistic, tools, and instrumentation.
  • Assist in developing plans and policies for the execution of the facilities O&M works.
  • Responsible for the management of unit functions as head of unit.
  • Responsible in the enforcement of the Safety & Emergency Action Plans.
  • Responsible in the evaluation of unit performance.
  • To monitor and coordinate the implementation Standard Operation Procedures and Work Instructions in line with Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) in order to achieve high quality services and continual improvement as per ISO 9001:2008 IMS at work place.
  • To implement 5s policies in all plant room/workplace.
  • Assists in prepare and monitor yearly departmental budget for spare parts, maintenance cost, resources (manpower and tools), and additional project cost and to ensure within approved budget allocation.
  • Motivates subordinates in order to achieve the strategic departmental goals and objectives through HPM and KPIs.
Key Challenges
  • Equipment lifespan, obseletedity and escalating spare parts replacement cost play a major impact to the overall O&M cost.
  • Adopting the best practice technique to be more cost effective and technically efficient in the O&M services
  • Cost optimization for facilities management contracts.
  • Secure additional works and remain competitive in the market.
  • Maintain high staff motivation and moral at all time.

Relevant Industries

Internal
  • Degree with minimum 2 years relevant experience in Executive role
  • Diploma with minimum 3 years relevant experience in Executive role
  • STPM with minimum 5 years relevant experience in Executive role
  • SPM with minimum 7 years relevant experience in Executive role
External
  • Degree with CGPA od 3.0 and above and minimum 3 years relevant experience
Education

Internal
  • Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Related Engineering Discipline.
  • Master degree would be an added advantage
EXTERNAL
  • Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Related Engineering Discipline.
