We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Executive (Account Payable) to join DHL eCommerce Malaysia! The Senior Finance Executive will be overall accountable for the smooth and efficient running of the finance function.The role reviews incoming invoices and outgoing invoices for accuracy, and oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable & general ledger recordkeeping. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Account Payable:- . Manages AP includes Customer Vendor Relations, and the AP disbursement and tax related matters. . Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines. . Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services. Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures . Prepare batches of invoices for data entry by SSC. Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports recording entries. Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment . Ensuringthe team is allocating purchase order numbers (if applicable) and resolving any issues . Planning and execution of the vendor payment runs . Managing the accuracy of thevendor database . Reconciliation ofsupplier statement, credit cards etc. . Ongoing improvements to the accounts payable process . Travel and subsistence claims - ensure all paper based expense claims are processed, filed, stored and archived in accordance with the Company\'s policies . Verifies vendor accounts and related transactions . Ensure the 3 way matching are taking place promptly and action taken to rectify those incorrect items detected against the Invoice and GRN. (GeT System) . Prepare Witholding Tax and do submission to Income Tax office on monthly basis . Process Petty Cash claims on weekly basis for various depots and HQ . Prepare journals at month end for non posted invoices . Managing the resolution of issuesescalated from team members Desired Skills / Qualifications . SAP knowledge will be added advantage . Knowledge in Payments processing will be added advantage . Knowledge in BASWARE will be added advantage . Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills . Strong interpersonal skills for interacting accountants, clients, and upper management . Strong analytical and problem solving skills Minimum Educational Qualification . Degree in Finance/Accounting
