AirAsia X Berhad is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join our Accounting & Finance team on a 1-year contract basis. This role is ideal for an individual with extensive experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable (AP) environment who is looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced aviation industry.Job Type: 1 year contract (renewal of contract based on business needs)Key ResponsibilitiesPrepayment Reconciliation:Perform historical prepayment reconciliation and analyze discrepancies that prevent offsetting.Vendor Reconciliation:Conduct monthly vendor reconciliation to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies promptly.Issue Resolution:Identify and resolve issues related to Accounts Payable by discussing them with the manager or shared service center as needed.Follow up on outstanding invoice issues with relevant internal and external parties to ensure timely resolution.Collaboration and Communication:Maintain effective communication with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders to support smooth financial operations.Qualifications and RequirementsEducation:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.Experience:A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a high-volume AP environment is essential.Experience in accounts payable reconciliation is mandatory.Skills:High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proficient in Oracle or similar accounting software is preferable.Personal Traits:Friendly, mature, humble, and honest.Meticulous and a self-starter who can perform under pressure in a challenging environment.Able to maintain high confidentiality, with a tactful and discreet approach when dealing with sensitive matters.Flexible with working hours to accommodate the needs of the business.This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aviation sector while contributing to a fast-paced and dynamic team.
