Job Description

:JOB PURPOSEDevelop and execute the business strategies and strategic action plans that support the division\'s growth and expansion.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the HSSE Manager/FM, Plant Manager and Operation team with planning, coordinating, and implementing effective HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
• Support the HSSE Manager/FM, Plant Manager, Project, and Operation team in all aspects of Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental issues to ensure it is hazard-free.
• Support the HSSE Manager/FM/Plant Manager in ensuring HSE compliance and performing regular HSSE audits in the areas of business and maintenance operations.
• Provide support to the department on the implementation of Company HSE initiatives e.g. ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2015.
• Assist with developing QHSE plans to promote safe practices at the workplace and enforce safety guidelines.
• Carry out and prepare the daily Site Safety Inspection program and provide the report inclusive with the scheduled Site Safety Audit.
• Conduct investigation of all accidents and near misses and complete the process for close out of all Accident Investigation Reports and prepare/submit lessons learned and Safety Alert to the HSE Manager for promulgation to the management.
• Track and provide regular HSSE performance reports to the Department Head of HSSE.
• Organize and Conduct HSSE training and induction for all new employees.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Environmental Safety and Health or major in any engineering degree, with prior training and experience in Occupational Safety and Health.
• Well-versed with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and the Environmental Quality Act 1974.
• Minimum four (4) years of working experience in related field.
• Good communication skills and stakeholder management.
