• Maintain reasonable stock levels to ensure availability of stock for the smooth operation of the plant.
• Maintain smooth running of the store, equipment and tools store. Ensures all stocks are properly coded and stored in the correct locations and ensures all stocks are maintained in good condition.
• Maintain the ISO quality system and make recommendations for any revision or improvement in the system.
• Identify slow-moving and obsolescent stocks; damaged equipment and tools. Responsible for submission of non-moving stocks, dead stock, and obsolete stocks to BOS/ write-off PPG committee.
• Assist in submitting monthly Waste Goods Reports to the Chemical Engineer and discharge of waste goods.
• Ensure MRP stock replenishment (planned order) is properly converted to PR to cater to plant needs.
• Analyze and monitor stockholding value and liaise with Generation Procurement and Inventory (GPI) and Finance department.
• Review and advise on annual CAPEX and OPEX budget preparation and monitoring its monthly expenditure.
• Involve actively in Asset Management System under ISO 55001:2014.
• Familiar with modernization and digital transformation by managing tenders in SEPRO for the selling of scrap metal and purchase of inventory materials, tools, and equipment.
• Familiar with SAP S4 Hana to support the GenX-CMMS initiative aligned with the objective of digitalization by the organization.
• Plan, propose and implement strategy to improve warehouse management and operating process, stock management practices and HSSE requirements.
• Lead the cross-departmental meetings and initiatives with GPI team to drive process improvements and enhance overall inventory operations efficiency.
• Lead the implementation of inventory optimization techniques such as ABC analysis and just-in-time (JIT) inventory management in collaboration with GPI, to enhance inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
• Identify potential opportunities to reduce costs and devise strategies to minimize expenses associated with inventory management.
• Accountable for managing the sale of fly ash and ensuring compliance with the Department of Environment (DOE) guidelines, including tracking fly ash inventory, arranging transportation, and facilitating agreements between the station and receiver.
• Responsible for establishing the necessary facilities for the generation of fly ash and the equipment required for its sale, such as a truck weighbridge scale system and a fly ash inventory management system.
• Manage the monthly closing and liaise with account sections for the fly ash sales.
• Manage the recycling project of ash and ensure it adheres to the DOE guidelines.
• Ensure that the ash pond management is as per the DOE guidelines.
• Manage the fly ash sales contract including relevant regulatory requirements (Scheduled Waste Management).
• Assist potential ash takers/contractors in applying for ash management license.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES (KNOW-HOW):

• Minimum Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain from Universities or Institutions of Higher Learning recognized by the Company or in any discipline.
• Eight (8) years of practical experience in power station or other related industries.
• Experienced in handling schedule waste and obtained CePSWaM certificate.
