  • Develop and implement a cohesive digital strategy that integrates social media, public relations, and advocacy to achieve organisational goals.
  • Oversee and maintain the organisation's digital platforms for communication, ensuring a strong, consistent online presence across all channels.
  • Lead digital campaigns to support organisation's objectives.
  • Manage social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and audience engagement to build brand loyalty and awareness.
  • Monitor, track, analyse and report on the social media trends, performance of digital, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth using relevant tools and KPIs.
  • Proactively address social media challenges, such as negative comments, misinformation, and reputational threats, with timely and thoughtful responses.
  • Monitor public sentiment, media coverage, and social media conversations to identify potential issues that could impact the organisation and draft responses for social and digital media for potential issues/ crisis ensuring readiness for high-pressure situation
  • Lead the development of proactive strategies to manage public relations challenges, including misinformation, controversy, and reputational risks.
  • Ensure all content adheres to SEO best practices and is optimised for various platforms.
  • Prepare regular updates for leadership, highlighting successes, risks, and areas for improvement.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication/ Journalism/ Public Relations/ Advertising/ Social Science/ Management/ Business/ Marketing/ English Language & Literature or equivalent with at least ten (10) years of relevant work experience.
  • In the fields of or related to Corporate Communication/ Media/ Public Relations/ Advertising and Marketing Communication/ Brand/ Campaign and Management.
  • Knowledge on the energy landscape and energy related industry is an advantage.
Preference will be given to internal candidate.
