KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Perform spend analytics and make recommendations.
  • Perform thorough review of value levers to develop and implement competitive category and / or sourcing strategies.
  • Identify and deal with the potential risks associated with category and / or sourcing strategies.
  • Conducts effective discussions with key internal stakeholders to develop the business case and agree on the way forward.
  • Actively support and / or participate in the process of procurement and negotiation with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Shares best practices and information across other procurement units or relevant business units.
  • Apply procurement governance and procedures that regulate the sourcing process.
QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Management or related fields
  • At least 6 to 8 years of related experience in procurement or contract management.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Harness MS Excel or SAP to perform data analysis, draw relationships or make reasonable conclusions and recommendations.
  • Review procurement value levers and analyze factors driving demand and costs.
  • Evaluate potential value opportunities from procurement and identify appropriate tactics to capture value.
  • Analyze sourcing options and make recommendations, including dealing with key risks associated with the sourcing strategies.
  • Engage, collaborate and manage internal stakeholders including senior management across business functional units to achieve deliverables.
  • Prepare, support development and execute negotiating strategies and tactics to create or retain value for the business.
  • Interpret standard contract provisions, defend challenges raised by internal or external parties and respond appropriately to common requests for deviation.
  • Comply, correctly interpret or coach others on procurement governance, policies and procedures regulating sourcing, tender management and award.
  • Write and present a compelling business case.
THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING):
  • To perform all tasks in line with the Information Security Quality Manual (ISQM) and the ISMS roles and responsibilities procedure.
  • To perform all tasks in line with the Information Governance Policy Suite and Guidelines.
Preference will be given to internal candidate.
