KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Liaison person on all engagement with Ministry of Utility and Telecommunication (specifically for telecommunication), Government authorities MCMC and SMA, Telecommunication providers, and any other corporate and agencies pertaining to telecommunication topic.
  • Manage the entire account of telecommunication assets\' tenants, i.e. SACOFA, Irix (formerly known as PP Telecommunication Sdn. Bhd.) and any future tenants.
  • Assess the new requirement from all perspectives and provide the recommendation to management on next level of management.
  • Responsible to visit and forecast the external telecommunication demand on half yearly basis.
  • Work closely with corporate communication shall there is any major telecommunication event that required SEB\'s attendance.
  • Review and update the Guidelines/Procedures when and needed to reflect the current situation and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate and execute the procurement activities (example for MCMC RONR, need to call RFQ to certify true copy of sesco audited account and RONR form) and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • To assist line manager or divisional head for any assigned task.
QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Degree in Information Technology/Computer/Electronics/Telecommunication/ Communication is preferred, other disciplines will be considered so long with strong communication skill and experience in telecommunication sector.
  • Any soft skill certificates in media corporate communication is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in telecommunication field more emphasis on direct interfacing with government agencies, customers, partners and vendors, OR
  • Minimum of 7 years working experience in any field but with solid experience in direct interfacing with government agencies, customers, business partners and vendors.
  • Past experiences in procurement, customer service, vendor management and project management would be an advantage.
  • Any soft skill certificates in media corporate communication is an advantage.
SPECIAL ASPECTS/MAJOR CHALLENGES OF THE JOB:
  • Be able to visit external parties physically whenever is required.
  • Be able to respond quickly to matter raised by Ministry of Utilities and Telecommunication, and other agencies.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
  • Good knowledge in telecommunication field but is not a must.
  • Good knowledge in public speaking, project management and vendor management.
  • Good knowledge in all necessary computer office tools like MS office.
